Crushing the ball

Incredible picture.  This is from Scott Rovak, one of the St. Louis Cardinals photographers, who says in 26 years of shooting baseball, this is only the third shot he’s caught of ball on bat, and obviously this is the best.  Check out his blog for the picture of the bat bending as Brett Wallace swings.

How Not to Measure Success

Biden:  ”Less bad is not our measure of success” Joe Biden assures us that he and the president do not consider “less bad” their measure of success.  Which is good.  But what do you call “more bad”?  Or does he not understand that 9.8% unemployment is actually worse than 9.7%?
